🇬🇧 United Kingdom confirms Eurovision 2025 Participation

The BBC has revealed that the United Kingdom will participate in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Switzerland.

Earlier today, the BBC announced that the United Kingdom will take part in the 69th Eurovision Song Contest in May 2025. No additional details have been provided about how the broadcaster will choose its representative or song for the competition. Since 2020, the UK has been selecting its representative internally.

Last year, the United Kingdom was represented by Ollie Alexander with the song “Dizzy”. The entry finished on the 18th place, receiving 46 songs from the jury and 0 points from the public.

United Kingdom becomes the 21st country to officially confirm their participation in the 69th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest, joining Albania, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Norway, Portugal, Serbia, Spain, Sweden and of course Switzerland.
