Netherlands has officially confirmed its participation in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025, with the country’s representative once again being selected through the Junior Songfestival. Registration for the 2025 edition of the competition is now open, providing young performers the opportunity to showcase their talents.

Aspiring artists have the chance to create their own song, produce a music video, and perform in front of a nationwide audience, with the potential to reach the international stage. The Junior Songfestival is seeking talented individuals who enjoy singing, dancing, performing, and creating engaging videos. Participants must be between 9 and 14 years of age (not turning 15 before November 2025) to qualify. Those who advance could find themselves in the finals with an original song and accompanying music video, competing for the chance to represent the Netherlands at Junior Eurovision 2025.

Applicants must submit a recording of themselves performing a karaoke version of a song as part of the registration process. After the application period closes, a jury will review all entries and select a group of participants to advance to the audition stage, which is expected to take place in February or March 2025.

Following the auditions, a set of finalists will be selected and divided into four acts. Each act will receive an original song and will create a music video for it. These four acts will then compete in the live final of Junior Songfestival 2025, where one will be chosen to represent the Netherlands at Junior Eurovision 2025.
