Radio Television of Serbia (RTS) has announced a competition for selecting the song that will represent Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025. “Pesma za Euroviziju ’25โ€ will once again be a prominent event where Serbia chooses its best entry in the realm of popular music. The competition for new compositions is open until November 1, 2024.

From the submissions received, the RTS Selection Committee will choose compositions based solely on their artistic quality. If no composition meets the required musical quality, RTS reserves the right to select a composition independently.

The final selection of the song that will represent Serbia and RTS at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 will be made by a professional jury composed of esteemed music and media creators, along with the audience at the “Pesma za Euroviziju ’25โ€ festival, following the Eurovision principle of 50% jury votes and 50% public votes.

The composition that receives the highest number of votes from both the jury and the audience at the festival will be Serbia’s representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025.

Since using the format of โ€Pesma za Eurovizijuโ€, Serbia has always managed to qualify for the Grand Final and even finishing in top 5 once with the iconic ”In Corpore Sano” by Konstrakta. Last year, Serbia was represented by TEYA DORA with her emotional ballad “RAMONDA”. She finished on 17th place with 54 points, after narrowly qualifying from the first semi-final, finishing 10th with 47 points, just 6 points above Australia’s Electric Fields.
