Swiss singer-songwriter Zoë Më has unveiled her latest single, ‘Voyage’, which will serve as Switzerland’s official entry for the 69th Eurovision Song Contest in Basel.

‘Voyage’ melds delicate melodies with candid lyrics, aiming to create an intimate and timeless ambiance. The song invites listeners to approach life with greater humanity, openness, and compassion. Zoë Më describes it as a “musical embrace” that encourages meeting hate with love, embracing tenderness, and recognizing the beauty in fleeting moments. She emphasizes that individuals flourish when treated with kindness, much like flowers that thrive when watered rather than cut.

Zoë Më, a Swiss artist with deep roots in both German and French cultures, discovered her passion for music early on. Born in Basel and later moving to Fribourg in 2009, she began composing songs at just 10 years old. Her distinctive style fuses poetic pop with elements of ‘chanson’, a reflection of her bilingual background. In 2024, she gained national recognition, earning titles such as ‘SRF 3 Best Talent’ and ‘RTS Artiste Radar’. Her bilingual EP, Dorienne Gris, opened doors to major stages, including the Montreux Jazz Festival and Luzern Live.

As the host nation, Switzerland is pre-qualified for the Grand Final, where Zoë Më will perform ‘Voyage’ on Saturday, 17 May. The Eurovision community eagerly anticipates her performance, expecting it to resonate with audiences across Europe and beyond.
