Welcome, dear May! Eurovision month has officially begun, and we’re already off to the first rehearsals. Intense moments will abound over the next two weeks, and most significantly, it will determine this year’s Eurovision Song Contest winner.

Before we find out who this year’s grand champion will be, let us examine the odds as they stand right now, paying particular attention to where each entry stands on the Spotify charts.

According to the Eurovision World website, which tracks all the live betting odds, the site predicts Sweden as the next winner of Eurovision this year, with a fantastic 38% chance of winning. Austria and France are right behind them for the podium, with a significant difference of 16% and 8%, respectively.

Netherlands, Israel and Finland are also close to the race for the trophy, but there is still enough time to declare who will be the next Eurovision winner. Compared to last year’s odds, Switzerland’s Nemo was only placing 3rd in the betting odds before the Grand Final, right behind Croatia and Israel, so everything can change last minute in a fast-paced time.

The public and bettors have plenty of time until May 17th to alter their predictions and determine who will win the trophy this year in Nemo’s place.

There is a significant difference between the actual top 10 and the odds, whereas only Sweden, Finland and the Netherlands define their popularity by their Spotify streams as well.
