Polish broadcaster Telewizja Polska (TVP) has responded to recent rumors about Poland’s potential representation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025, clarifying that no conversations have taken place with any artists, including American star JoJo Siwa. TVP emphasized that no decisions have been made regarding the country’s participation in the upcoming contest.

“Telewizja Polska is not conducting any talks with artists on this matter and has not yet made any decisions regarding participation in the Contest,” the broadcaster stated. TVP promised to keep the public informed about their Eurovision plans through official channels once concrete decisions are made.

This statement from TVP came in response to JoJo Siwa’s recent claims in a TikTok video, where she indicated that she had been involved in “real” discussions about representing Poland in Eurovision 2025. Siwa, who has expressed a deep connection to her Polish roots, shared her excitement about the possibility, mentioning that she was working through logistical challenges to potentially make it happen. Despite her enthusiasm, TVP’s announcement makes it clear that no such discussions are currently underway.

TVP’s focus is presently on the upcoming “Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024,” highlighting their commitment to this event. The Polish Junior Eurovision pre-selection final will be broadcast on TVP2 on September 29, hosted by Artur Orzech. The final event will take place in Madrid on November 16.

While JoJo Siwa’s comments have sparked interest among fans, the official position from TVP indicates that the idea of her representing Poland at Eurovision remains speculative at this stage. TVP has assured Eurovision enthusiasts that any future developments regarding Poland’s participation in the 2025 contest will be communicated officially when the time is right.
