1. Arwin – Glitter

Arwin became famous with the hit “För bra för att vara sant”, which went viral on TikTok and was played on radio stations around the country in 2024. He also participated in the RixFM Festival tour and conducted his own summer tour in Sweden. Arwin’s music combines disco, pop and electronic elements. In Melodifestivalen 2025, Arwin competed with the autobiographical entry “This Dream Of Mine”, which took him all the way to the final qualifier and this summer he continued around Sweden as part of the Diggiloo gang. In Melodifestivalen 2026, Arwin competes with “Glitter” – a Swedish-language, uptempo pop song with clear 80s influences and a more personal appeal.

2. Laila Adele – Oxigen

Text & music: Jonas Thander, Laila Adèle, Marcus Winther-John

Laila Adèle was born in Fez, Morocco, raised in Sweden and has moved freely between soul, jazz, gospel and musicals. She competed in the 2006 Melodifestivalen with “Don’t Try to Stop Me” and has released several albums since then. On the musical stage, she has played major roles in, among others, “Hairspray”, “Jekyll & Hyde” and the long-running “Från Broadway till Duvemåla”. Laila Adèle also sang the Swedish theme song “En värld full av liv” for The Lion King and plays Effie in “Dreamgirls” at the China Theatre.

3. Robin Bengtsson – Honey Honey

Text & music: Gavin Jones, Pär Westerlund, Petter Tarland, Robin Bengtsson

Robin Bengtsson has a successful career behind him with over 120 million streams. In 2017 he won Melodifestivalen with the song “I can’t go on”. In 2024 he broke into the country scene with several single releases, and he has played live at country festivals around the country. In 2025 Robin Bengtsson went to Nashville and wrote music for upcoming projects. Back home he then wrote the song “Honey Honey” which he immediately felt was the right song to return to Melodifestivalen with, ten years after his first participation in 2016.

4. Felicia – My System

Text & music: Audun Agnar, Emily Harbakk, FELICIA, Julie Bergan, Theresa Rex

FELICIA, formerly known as F and before that Fröken Snusk, has taken Sweden by storm in a short time with her unique voice, charisma and stage presence. She has topped the charts on Spotify, performed over 300 gigs and won Masked Singer. She participated in Melodifestivalen 2024 with the song “Unga och Fria” and made it to the Final Qualifier. In the fall of 2025, FELICIA released her first single “Black Widow”, under her own name. It quickly rose to third place on Spotify’s top 50 list and was picked up by Swedish radio stations and media. During the fall, FELICIA also participated in SVT’s power game reality show Spelet, which she also won.

5. Klara Almstrom – Dar hela varlden vantar

Text & music: Fredrik Sonefors, Jimmy Jansson, Klara Almström

Klara Almström made her breakthrough in Idol 2022, where she came in third. Now she makes her debut in Melodifestivalen with “Där hela världen väntar”, which she wrote together with Fredrik Sonefors and Jimmy Jansson, a song about defying self-doubt and daring to believe in yourself again. Klara Almström is inspired by jazz, folk music and Swedish pop and has built a large audience on TikTok with interpretations and songs, including the duet “Hittat hem” with Björn Holmgren.

6. Brandsta City Slackers – Rakt in i elden

Text & music: Anderz Wrethov, Elin Wrethov, Kristofer Strandberg, Robert Skowronski

Brandsta City Släckers, consisting of Glenn Borgkvist, Mats Nilsson, Ulf Johansson, Olle Östberg and Tom Börjesson, is a band that has become popular by combining firefighter uniforms, rock and humor. They were formed in 1994 and had their breakthrough in Melodifestivalen 2002 with “Kom och ta mig”, followed by “15 minuter” the following year. Their characteristic “Brandstaklapp” has made them cult figures and earned them a place in the Melodifestivalen Hall of Fame 2020. After a notable interlude with Edvin Törnblom in 2025, they return to the competition in 2026 with the song “Rakt in i elden”.
