In an exciting twist, Teo Tomczuk, a young Polish-Norwegian artist, has been added as the 11th finalist in the Polish National Selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2025. Teo will perform his song “Immortal” on February 14 during the grand final of Poland’s Eurovision qualifiers.

Teo, born in 2006 in Poland, moved to Norway at the age of 12. Due to formalities surrounding his citizenship, he faced significant hurdles in his quest to represent Poland. Initially excluded from the top 10 finalists due to not holding Polish citizenship, Teo’s situation changed when he was granted citizenship on January 16, 2025, by the President of Poland. This decision opened the door for Telewizja Polska (TVP) to award him a wildcard entry into the grand final.

“Immortal,” penned by Jeremie Sikorski, was initially submitted according to the competition’s regulations and impressed judges during the casting phase. However, Teo’s lack of citizenship at the time prevented him from advancing. With his citizenship restored, TVP reconsidered his candidacy, granting him the wildcard that now sees him competing alongside 10 other talented acts for the honor of representing Poland.

As the Polish selection gears up for its grand finale, Teo will take the stage alongside 10 other acts, including the opening band Chrust and fan-favorite Dominik Dudek. Could “Immortal” catapult him to Eurovision glory? All eyes are on February 14 to find out.
