Fans of Serbia’s annual Eurovision selection competition, Pesma za Evroviziju, will need to adjust their calendars, as the national broadcaster has confirmed a change in the dates for the 2025 edition. Originally slated to be held with two semi-finals on February 25th and 27th, followed by the Grand Final on March 1st, the schedule has been revamped to bring the semi-finals closer together, while pushing the Grand Final to Friday, February 28th.

The new dates now see the two semi-finals taking place on February 25th and 26th, ensuring that the competition’s final stage will take place a day earlier than previously planned. The adjustment to the schedule ensures that the Grand Final will take place on Friday, February 28th, giving it the spotlight on a weekend evening. This change, which may have been made to optimize audience engagement, will also bring the competition closer to the weekend festivities, as many viewers and fans are expected to tune in from across Europe.

This year’s Pesma za Evroviziju is of particular significance, as Serbia continues its journey through the Eurovision Song Contest season with the anticipation of discovering the next song and artist to represent the country on the grand Eurovision stage.
