San Marino’s representative for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be revealed on September 11 during the charity event “Sogna ragazzo sogna,” which will feature Roberto Vecchioni as the musical guest. Alessandro Capicchioni will serve as the head of the San Marino delegation.

San Marino RTV has participated in the event three times before—in 2013, 2014, and 2015—and is returning to the competition after a 9-year break.

In 2015, San Marino was represented by Kamilla Ismailova with her song “Mirror”. She ended 14th out of the 17th countries with 36 points. This is country’s best result to date.
