RTVE closed the selection process for the 2025 Benidorm Fest at 11:59 p.m. on Thursday. In total, nearly 1,000 songs have been received over the 144 days that the process opened by the Corporation has lasted. Of those 1,000 songs, about 300 have been received in the last 24 hours.
This represents a new record for the festival in its fourth edition. For the 2025 Benidorm Fest, RTVE has received almost 200 more songs than in 2024, proof of the interest generated by the event and that it has already become the largest platform for promoting the Spanish music industry.

After closing the process for receiving applications, RTVE’s committee of experts for the Benidorm Fest is working on listening to the songs received. From these, the 16 best proposals will be chosen to participate in the Benidorm Fest next year on January 28 and 30 in the semi-finals, and in the grand final on February 1.

In 2024, Nebulossa and their song ZORRA won the festival
