75th edition of the Sanremo Music Festival has crowned Olly as its winner with the emotional ballad “Balorda Nostalgia.” His heartfelt performance captivated audiences and secured him the top spot in the prestigious competition.

With 31% of the votes, Olly triumphed over strong contenders like Lucio Corsi, Brunori Sas, Fedez, and Simone Cristicchi in the superfinal. His victory not only cements his place in the Italian music scene but also grants him the opportunity to represent Italy at Eurovision 2025 in Basel, Switzerland.

The song, released under Epic Records, has already gained widespread acclaim for its nostalgic and poetic lyrics. Accompanied by a visually striking music video directed by Giulio Rosati, “Balorda Nostalgia” is set to leave a lasting impact.

At just 23 years old, Olly (born Federico Olivieri) is no stranger to Sanremo. He previously competed in Sanremo 2023 with “Polvere” after making his breakthrough in Sanremo Giovani 2022. His 2025 victory marks a defining moment in his rising career.

Sanremo continues to be Italy’s premier stage for launching musical talent, and Olly’s win adds another chapter to its rich legacy. Will he bring Italy another Eurovision victory? The world will be watching.

I’m a teacher and digital content creator with a deep passion for the Eurovision phenomenon—a world of music, emotions, and unforgettable performances. My first memory of Eurovision dates back to Mandinga’s performance, a moment that sparked my love for the contest. Since then, I’ve watched every edition with bated breath, eagerly following the national selections along the way. While „Arcade” by Duncan Laurence is my all-time favorite, it competes closely with „Attention” by Ulrikke for the top spot in my heart.
