According to the published 2025 program proposal from MRT (Macedonian Radio Television), it can be concluded that North Macedonia will not participate in Eurovision 2025 in Switzerland for the third consecutive year. MRT will broadcast both the Junior Eurovision and the main Eurovision events live, but will not send a representative.

In past years, when MRT (Macedonian Radio Television) took part in Eurovision, the program proposal specified Macedonia’s representative, the song selection process, and the budget for participation and broadcasting.

This year, MRT will only broadcast Junior Eurovision and Eurovision 2025, with no budget allocated for participation. It is confirmed that North Macedonia will not participate in the main event in Basel.

North Macedonia’s most recent participation in the Contest was in 2022, when Andrea performed the song “Circles,” finishing 11th in the second semi-final.
