SVT confirmed that they will open the song submission window for Melfest 2025 on August 23 at 09:00 CEST. The songs can be submitted until 13th of September, 11:59 CET. You can submit a song to Melodifestivalen here:

CASTING FOR DANCERS

SVT is looking for new dancers for their productions, auditions will take place on 1st of September.

Melodifestivalen will be used to select the Swedish entry for Eurovision 2025 in Switzerland. More information about the national selection will be revealed in due course. Melodifestivalen has been held annually since 1959, except for 1964 and 1976, when Sweden did not compete in Eurovision.

EUROVISION 2024

Marcus & Martinus represented Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmö with the song “Unforgettable”. They placed 9th in the Grand Final receiving a total of 174 points.
