The 2nd edition of the Luxembourg Song Contest will take place on January 25, 2025, at the Rockhal in Esch. This prestigious event will select Luxembourg’s representative for the Grand Final of the 69th Eurovision Song Contest in Basel. To mark this exciting new chapter, the Luxembourg Song Contest has unveiled a dynamic new logo, symbolizing its commitment to promoting musical talent and cultural diversity.

RTL Lëtzebuerg will broadcast the 2025 Luxembourg Song Contest live, with ticket sale details to be announced soon. This event offers a unique platform for emerging artists to showcase their talent and gain international recognition. An international jury of industry experts will ensure a high level of professionalism in evaluating all performances.

Song submission deadline: October 6, 2024

Since opening submissions in July, RTL Luxembourg has welcomed entries from aspiring artists, with the window closing on October 6, 2024. Afterward, a panel of experts will review and shortlist entries for the national final.

Artist eligibility:

• Must be at least 16 years old by January 1, 2025
• Must either have Luxembourg nationality, have lived in Luxembourg for at least 3 consecutive years, or be actively involved in Luxembourg’s cultural scene
• Must be available between November 2024 and May 2025
• Must be able to perform live
• For bands/groups, at least one member must meet these criteria

Song requirements:

• Maximum length of 3 minutes
• Must not have been published or performed publicly before September 1, 2024
• Each artist or group can submit up to 5 original songs
• The song’s language is unrestricted

Last year, Tali proudly represented Luxembourg with her song “Fighter.” After more than 30 years away from the competition, Luxembourg made a strong comeback, securing 13th place in the Grand Final!
