Welcome to our Live Blog for Melodifestivalen 2025! During this weeks of Melodifestivalen we will have ine ach Thursday a live blog where we add pictures from rehearsals and our thoughts about each moment!

The order for today’s rehearsals

• Voice of the Silent – John Lundvik
• Kamikaze Life – Maja Ivarsson
• Vår första gång – Adrian Macéus
• Hush Hush – Meira Omar
• Den känslan – Linnea Henriksson

It’s time for the 1st act! 🎉

On stage at: 10:05

The 1st act which is already on stage is Albin Johnsén feat. Pa. They will compete with the song Upp i luften and you can listen to their snippet here.

On the stage we have a platform with leds on it, the guys are singing on that platform for the 1st half of the song. The colors are green and orange. 4 dancers are on the stage. The platform is going up near the final part of the song and the dancers are on the small stage in the public.

My opinion: Good song, good vibes, but I don’t think Sweden will send this kind of song anytime soon 🙂 I love that platform so so much cause it reminds me of Jaqline (don’t boo me :))

John Lundvik on stage🎉

On stage at: 10:45

John Lundvik is back! He represented Sweden in 2019 with the song TOO LATE FOR LOVE and now he’s back with Voice of the Silent.

He’s alone on stage with a huge sphere.

My opinion: the full song is good, but not good enough to represent Sweden. He will defenetly qualify for the final, but it will be 5-9th place in the final from Strawberry Arena. Nothing special about the moment 🙁

Maja Ivarsson on stage🔥

On stage at: 11:45

It’s time to have a female on stage 🔥 Maja will sing Kamikaze Life. Maja Ivarsson is best known as the frontwoman of the rock band The Sounds.

The staging is simple, just Maja and a platform.

My opinion: The song is so so good it reminds me of Damiano David – Born With a Broken Heart a bit. The camera angles are so so good and she is amazing in this performance! This can actually go to the final or 2nd chance (the 2nd part of heat 5). That’s one of the good songs from heat 1.

We are ready for Adrian Maceus 🤩

On stage at: 12:20

We have a big white circle on the ground with Adrian in it. It’s a pretty empty stage (like the other moments).

My opinion: It’s a good moment, but not for Melfest and Eurovision… I would love something more from this cause the moment can have lots of other props, graphics not just him, a circle and some lights flickering … too simple for such an amazing contest.

It’s time for the last rehearsal of this day

Linnea Henriksson is the last one to today’s rehearsals! She will sing Den känslan and I can’t wait to see the staging!
