Katarsis will represent Lithuania at the 69th Eurovision Song Contest after winning ‘Eurovizija.LT’ with the song ‘Tavo akys’.

On Saturday 15 February we got to watch as Lithuania picked its song for Basel 2025.

Twelve entries competed in Lithuania’s Eurovision pre-selection, Eurovizija.LT. In the first round of voting, a combination of jury votes (50%) and public votes (50%) determined the top three songs advancing to the superfinal: Katarsis, Lion Ceccah and Liepa. In the final stage, the Lithuanian public had full control, with 100% of the vote deciding the winner. And in the end, the viewers crowned Katarsis as their ultimate choice!

The televote strongly favored Tavo akys, with Katarsis’ song securing a 9374 votes. In second place was “DrobΔ—” by Lion Ceccah earning 3828 votes, while “Ar mylΔ—tum?” by Liepa finished third with 2198 votes.

“Tavo akys” will be performed in the First Half of the Second Semi-Final on Thursday 15 May.
