Junior Eurovision 2026: What do we know so far?

The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2026 is getting closer, so what do we know so far about it?

Host city, country, venue

Malta has the chance to host the contest for the 3rd time (previously in 2014 and 2016). The host city is Ta’ Qali, the city where PBS (Malta’s Public Brodcaster) host their National Final (Malta Eurovision Song Contest).

The venue will be Malta Fairs & Conventions Centre

Participating countries

16 countries will participate in the JESC 2026. And they are:

  • 🇲🇰 North Macedonia
  • 🇵🇱 Poland
  • 🇵🇹 Portugal
  • 🇸🇲 San Marino
  • 🇪🇸 Spain
  • 🇺🇦 Ukraine

So far, 8 countries already selected their young artists for JESC 2026.

  • 🇵🇱 Poland: Wiktor Sas
  • 🇵🇹 Portugal: Salvador Rio
  • 🇪🇸 Spain: Lucas Paulano

Next weeks: the stage reveal, the theme reveal for “United by Music”, the hosts and the first rehearsals.

The final of Junior Eurovision 2026 will take place on October 24 at 21:00 CEST.
