Changes in the 2025 Edition of Sanremo Festival

The 2025 edition of the Sanremo Festival brings several exciting changes to Italy’s beloved music competition. This year, there will be 24 main participants, with an additional 4 performers coming from the Sanremo Giovani section, giving fresh talent a spotlight alongside established artists. Voting will be conducted throughout the week by the press, radio, and televoting, ensuring a broader representation of public opinion and media influence.

The Superfinal format remains unchanged, with the top 5 contestants progressing to the ultimate showdown. Fans will also be pleased to know that the popular “cover night” tradition will continue, offering a fun tribute to classic hits. However, unlike previous years, performances during cover night will no longer affect the overall classification.
