After countless auditions and numerous episodes, the moment for Israel to choose its Eurovision 2025 representative is fast approaching! The Grand Final of HaKokhav Haba is officially set to take place on Tuesday, January 21st!

Currently, ten contestants remain in the competition, but only four will advance to the Grand Final. There, Israel’s audience and the competition’s panel of judges will jointly decide who will represent the country in Basel!

The judging panel includes:

Assaf Amdursky

Keren Peles

Shiri Maimon

Eden Hason

Ran Danker

Itay Levi

Nasrin Kadri

Following the selection of the representative, a special committee will choose the song to be performed on the Eurovision stage, similar to last year’s process. Submissions for songs will remain open until February 2, 2025.

The professional selection committee will consist of seven members:

The committee chair – the music director of IPBC radio stations.

Two radio representatives – music editors appointed by the chair.

Two television representatives – the director of IPBC entertainment and culture, along with one additional representative selected by the director.

Two representatives from Keshet.

Once again, the song may be in any language but must include a few Hebrew phrases. The final song will be arranged, recorded, and accompanied by a music video, which will be revealed in March 2025 during a special broadcast.

Last year’s HaKokhav Haba winner and Israel’s Eurovision 2024 representative, Eden Golan, impressed with her song “Hurricane,” securing 5th place in the Grand Final.

Stay tuned for updates and prepare for an electrifying night as Israel selects its Eurovision 2025 star!
