The Second Chance of Melodifestivalen 2024 will take place immediately after the final of Deltavling 5. The contestants will have the numbers from 11 to 20.

Voting procedure:

The votes from previous deltavlings will be converted in points. How?

They will add all the points of each participant in the second chance and, depending on the votes obtained, the corresponding percentage will be allocated. From the total of 1000 points for votes from previous deltavlings, it will have x% of 1000 points = the number of points for this round of voting.

The total amount of points is 2000. From this, 50% are coming from the previous deltavlings votes and the other 50% from the 2nd voting round. They will show a recap with all the songs and we will have 10 minutes to vote from the moment when the first song of the recap (Forever Yours by Elisa Lindstrom) will be started.

Untill now, we know the phone numbers for the first eight songs, 099-908 XX (9.90 kr) or 099-208 XX (3.60 kr) and XX is the number allocated below:

• 18 Scarlet – Circus X
• 19 – 3rd place of Deltavling 5
• 20 – 4th place of Deltavling 5

Announcement of the finalists

They will present the points like in the final when they reveal the televoting (from the lowest to the highest points from the 1st round – points from deltavlings). The first two highest scores will go direkt till finalen.

The second chance round is set to start at 21:30 CEST.
