🇩🇪 Germany’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest Released

Bjarne just released the song that will compete in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024. The 11 year old, Bjarne, is the first boy and also the youngest candidate to date to compete for Germany in this music competition.

Who is actually Bjarne?

Bjarne, the German entrant in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024, lives with his family in the Diepholz district of Lower Saxony and started singing at the age of 2, he enjoys singing with his grandmother. Also, he plays the guitar and has been taking lessons for three years. Bjarne really likes trampolining and dancing. Moreover, Bjarne enjoys imitating dances that he sees on TikTok.

Bjarne took part in the twelfth season of The Voice Kids in 2024 and reached the sing-offs as part of the team of former Eurovision Song Contest winner, Lena Meyer-Landrut. His appearances on the talent show made him successful on the social platforms as the little Bjarne is followed by 210.000 people.

Germany in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest

Germany debuted at the JESC in the year of 2020, in Warsaw, Poland. KIKA, a joint venture of the German broadcasters, ARD and ZDF, broadcasts the event within Germany. The country’s best result in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest was last year, when the song Ohne Worte (Without Words) performed by Fia placed 9th out of 16 participating countries.

Today, Germany is the next country to release its entry for this year Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which will be held in the capital of Spain on November 16. The full version of Bjarne’s song, Save The Best For Us was recorded between July and August 2024 and is intended to point out the need to protect the nature and its wonders.
