The EuroAlfa Panel — a group of six Eurovision-loving bloggers — is here to review and rate this year’s Junior Eurovision songs. We’re not professionals, but our passion for Eurovision and music drives us to share our honest opinions. We’ll be rating each song on a scale from 1⭐ to 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, with 1 representing a tune that didn’t quite hit the mark, and 5 reserved for those that truly shine! Next up, we take a closer look and see if Italy’s “Pigiama Party” 🇮🇹 by Simone Grande impressed our panel!

Antonio: Italy sends this year a cute song but something is missing. However, I hope they will end on the left part of the scoreboard! (3.5⭐)

Florin: It’s a nice song with good vibes. I can’t say I’m the biggest fan, but I think it’s well-suited for a children’s contest. (2⭐)

Laur: I think the song is cute but it doesn’t fully convince me. (3⭐)

Reza: I think people are sleeping on this one. Italy has sent a great, uptempo, catchy, and fun song. Let’s be honest: who doesn’t love a pigiama party?! Simone is very talented, and if he can hit those high notes at the end, he might be a contender. (4.5⭐)

Raul: At first I thought that this will be the most boring song of the entire season, BUT it’s not, I’m glad that Italy chose diversity each year and they don’t respect a pattern. They come with something new every year. I am looking forward for the performance cause I am very curious how they will integrate this song on the stage (hopefully we will not see anyone in pigiamas) (4⭐)

Stefania: Pigiama Party is a vibrant and fun entry for Italy, brimming with energy. Its success will hinge on Simone’s ability to bring that same excitement and hit his notes live. If he delivers, this could be a standout performance, giving Italy a strong chance to shine in the competition. (4⭐)

EuroAlfa’s Panel Results:

  1. Italy 🇮🇹 (3.5⭐)
