The EuroAlfa Panel — a group of six Eurovision-loving bloggers — is here to review and rate this year’s Junior Eurovision songs. We’re not professionals, but our passion for Eurovision and music drives us to share our honest opinions. We’ll be rating each song on a scale from 1⭐ to 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, with 1 representing a tune that didn’t quite hit the mark, and 5 reserved for those that truly shine! Next up, we take a closer look and see if Malta’s 🇲🇹 “Stilla Ċkejkna” by Ramires Sciberras impressed our panel!

Antonio: The song definately got something on after the revamp but still not enough to achieve a good place. (3⭐)

Florin: It’s a nice song, but like Albania, I don’t think it’s powerful enough to stand out among the others. I was also expecting more from the powerhouse that Malta usually is in JESC. (2⭐)

Laur: To be honest, I found the performance somewhat uninspiring; nothing particularly stood out to me (2⭐)

Raul: It’s not terrible, but it doesn’t stand out. There’s nothing particularly special or captivating—it just feels a bit flat, which is a shame. (2⭐)

Reza: This is a beautiful and deeply emotional story, paired with impressive vocals that truly capture the sentiment behind the song. The heartfelt message shines through, and it’s clear that Malta has put forward a strong effort with this entry. While I wish the song had a bit more powerful to elevate the impact even further, it’s still a compelling performance and a meaningful contribution. Kudos to Malta for bringing such an inspiring story to the stage! (3⭐)

Stefania: It’s a solid effort that deserves recognition, even if it doesn’t hit quite as hard as some of the other entries. Still, Malta has crafted something meaningful, and that’s always worth celebrating! (2.5⭐)
