All six members of EURO Alfa had to submit their predictions for the 10 acts they think will qualify from each semi-final. Everyone submitted predictions, not personal rankings or opinions, so the main goal was to be objective and consider what the casual viewer would vote for and enjoy.

Semi-Final 2

SURE QUALIFIERS ✔️

All 6 bloggers of EURO ALFA agreed that the following songs will qualify:

✔️ Malta 🇲🇹 – Miriana Conte – “SERVING (Kant)”

Malta hasn’t qualified for the final since 2021, but all of our bloggers are confident that Miriana Conte will bring her nation back with her sassy and confident performance of the infectious “SERVING”.

✔️ Finland 🇫🇮 – Erika Vikman – “ICH KOMME”

Erika Vikman has created a lot of hype and love around her, and we can’t imagine this year’s final without the iconic Erika and her anthem “ICH KOMME”. We all agree that Finland is a safe bet this year.

✔️ Austria 🇦🇹 – JJ – “Wasted Love”

Austria is one of the main favourites to win the whole competition, so there’s no doubt that JJ will be in the final with his emotional song and strong vocal performance.

✔️ Australia 🇦🇺 – Go-Jo – “Milkshake Man”

Australia didn’t qualify last year, but they’ve come back stronger with the quirky and catchy “Milkshake Man”. We all believe the televote will appreciate it enough to push it through to the grand final.

✔️ Czechia 🇨🇿 – ADONXS – “Kiss Kiss Goodbye”

Like Australia, Czechia returned stronger this year with a solid entry performed by a charismatic artist with great vocals. One of our bloggers had doubts about Czechia’s chances, but ultimately, we all agreed that it will qualify.

✔️ Israel 🇮🇱 – Yuval Raphael – “New Day Will Rise”

Israel is another safe prediction. Just like last year’s “Hurricane”, they’ve stuck to a winning formula – and we believe it will pay off once again.

✔️ Luxembourg 🇱🇺 – Laura Thorn – “La Poupée Monte Le Son”

Currently sitting 10th in the odds, Luxembourg is borderline, but interestingly, all of our bloggers agree that it will make it to the final.

✔️ Denmark 🇩🇰 – Sissal – “Hallucination”

Denmark hasn’t been in the final since 2019, so it’s long overdue. Despite being 12th in the odds, all of our bloggers are confident that Sissal will break the streak. Her strong vocal delivery and memorable hook are likely to resonate with viewers.

✔️ Greece 🇬🇷 – Klavdia – “Asteromáta”

Greece is sending something different than last year, a ballad full of emotion and strength delivered by a beautiful voice and we all agreed that this will also be appreciated by the viewers!

ALSO QUALIFIED ✔️

✔️ Armenia 🇦🇲 – PARG – “Survivor”

3 out of our 6 members – Raul, Reza, and Laur – believe that PARG will qualify, despite being 14th in the odds. That was enough for Armenia to make it into our list of qualifiers.

NON-QUALIFIERS

❌ Ireland 🇮🇪 – Emmy – “Laika Party”

Only two members – Florin and Stefania – think Ireland will qualify, which wasn’t enough to push it into our overall list. Emmy currently sits at 11th in the odds, mirroring our internal vote.

❌ Latvia 🇱🇻 – Taumateitas – “Bur Man Laimi”

Only Antonio believes Latvia will qualify. Although Latvia broke their non-qualification streak last year with Dons, it seems unlikely they’ll repeat that success in 2025.

❌ Montenegro 🇲🇪 – Nina Žižić – “Dobrodošli”

None of our six members believe Nina will make it to the final. Unfortunately, with no juries in the semifinal, the death slot, and this type of ballad rarely doing well, her chances seem slim.

❌ Lithuania 🇱🇹 – Katarsis – “Tavo Akys”

A surprising and controversial prediction: none of our members think Lithuania will qualify, despite being 7th in the odds with almost an 80% chance.

❌ Georgia 🇬🇪 – Mariam Shengelia – “Freedom”

Georgia hasn’t generated any buzz in the Eurovision fandom. We believe casual viewers will feel the same — the song feels outdated and forgettable in this competitive field.

❌ Serbia 🇷🇸 – Princ – “Mila”

Despite being 9th in the odds, none of our members think Serbia will make it through. We simply don’t believe Europe will vote for this kind of song in 2025.
