EUROAlfa Panel is back! This year, 8 of our members will rate and comment on every single entry in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest! Today’s country is Ukraine represented by LELEKA with her song “Rydnym” 🇺🇦

1️⃣ Raul: Ukraine had better options and you chose this?! No, for me this song just doesn’t exist. What annoys me is that it will probably qualify for the final just because it’s Ukraine. Maybe it’s time they actually stay in the semifinal for once, because this is the second time they’ve sent something that doesn’t live up to the standard we’re used to from them. The song just puts me to sleep — it has no energy, it feels very weak and kind of bland.

Grade: 3/10

2️⃣ Reza: I wish I could rate it higher, because it is not a bad song at all and it has many beautiful elements. Her vocals are stunning. However, it does not really grab me… Ever since it won in January, I have not gone back to listen to it again. Sadly, it is just not my cup of tea, but I can absolutely respect and appreciate it. I do think the juries will really like this entry because it makes a strong first impression, and that final high note is genuinely impressive. Not everyone can pull that off.

Grade: 5/10

3️⃣ Florin: Leleka’s voice is amazing, she can really deliver the song and this elevates the whole thing. The song itself is not for me, it’s one of the songs I don’t like this year. Will qualify and will probably get points from the televote, and I think her voice will also be appreciated by the jury. I think Ukraine had better options in their NF, but still, they will get a good result.

Grade: 4/10

4️⃣ Stefania: A respectable entry with good musical elements, but it feels slightly underdeveloped. It may struggle to leave a strong impression compared to more dynamic competitors.

Grade: 5/10

5️⃣ Laur: I’m honestly tired of this. It feels like a Junior Eurovision entry.

Grade: 2/10

6️⃣ Titi: I understand that Ukraine wanted to encourage young talent this year, but Leleka really wasn’t the right choice. The song is flat, boring, and easy to forget. It has nothing that makes it stand out, but because of the country it represents, I already know it will unfortunately end up in a good position.

Grade: 4/10

7️⃣ Nella: I didn’t watched Vidbir this year but I believe that there were other entries that could’ve been better for Ukraine. I love her voice and the vocals she’s delivering but the song is not it. They will pull another top 5 for sure, giving the current circumstances we are in Eurovision.

Grade: 5/10

8️⃣ Mircea: I don’t understand the hype on this one. Her voice is majestic, but the song is very weak and in my opinion it shouldn’t deserve to qualify. The long note is impressive, but doesn’t do much for me. I kinda want to sleep on this one. Probably it will qualify, but I am honest with you – they had many choices better than this.

Grade: 5/10
