EUROAlfa Panel is back! This year, 8 of our members will rate and comment on every single entry in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest! Today’s country is Sweden represented by FELICIA with her song “My System” 🇸🇪

1️⃣ Raul: Ahhh, my Felicia! FINALLY revenge for 2024 (Froken Snusk). This song is absolutely amazing, though it might not be for everyone. The message is quite common nowadays, the staging from Mello is already impressive. I’m sure she’ll tweak a few things, so we could even get a surprise winner! I love the song and the instrumental — it’s pure Swedish pop, instantly recognizable as coming from Sweden.

Grade: 10/10

2️⃣ Reza: This is a very polished modern EDM-pop track: slick, catchy, and extremely well executed. It is exactly the kind of quality production we have come to expect from Sweden. FELICIA delivers “My System” with strong vocals, and her charisma, personality, and stage presence shine through effortlessly. I really enjoy the song, and overall it is clearly a strong package. However, I cannot help but associate the chorus with “Everytime We Touch” by Cascada. It is one of those songs where, on first listen, you immediately feel like you have heard something similar before, and I am quite sure many viewers will have the same reaction. That is probably the only thing holding it back for me, because if it felt a little more original, it would have easily received a perfect score from me.

3️⃣ Florin: Easily one of my favorites this year. Everything about this just works for me: the visuals, the sound, the voice, the lyrics. I don’t think Sweden will win, judging on how EDM songs have placed in the past, but this is one of the best EDM songs we had in Eurovision and I really hope it will be at least in the top 5.

4️⃣ Stefania: Such an amazing and catchy song, I absolutely love it. The artist’s energy and overall vibe instantly take me to a Tomorrowland-style atmosphere, which makes it even more impactful.

Grade: 9/10

5️⃣ Laur: A very basic song. But the show? Incredible. It will dominate. I love it. It feels like being at a festival, dancing non-stop. Sweden knows exactly how to deliver this kind of performance.

Grade: 9/10

6️⃣ Titi: Sweden brings quality to the competition every year, but this year it’s really to my taste. My System is a brilliant song with impressive production, and Felicia’s voice is flawless. Even if the song can be compared to others, the overall concept makes it unique, and Felicia’s stage presence is undeniable. Sweden will definitely be back in the top 5.

7️⃣ Nella: This is actually a really personal song for me. I can see that this might be a party song for some which is agreeable, but the lyrics kinda denote something personal that a party for me lmao. I saw this winning since the day Felicia had her first performance in Melodifestivalen. The vocals are amazing and the show Sweden puts from year to year will never dissapoint.

Grade: 10/10

8️⃣ Mircea: Sweden does not dissapoint at all, not even this year. The song is very good and it`s very energic. But I must confess, the staging makes it a hundred times better, love the lasers and the effects used in Melodifestivalen. Felicia has a good voice, I love her performance and personality. She will definitely make Vienna dance and possibly achieving another top 5 for Sweden.
