Raul: I think it’s the 1st time when I love the entry from Netherlands😍 Can we just put top 10 already? The song is so catchy, very memorable, with a huge show potential, can’t wait to see how Avrotros will put this on the (huge) Eurovision stage. Vocals? On point. Song? Just perfect. Personality? YES WE HAVE. What else I want from Claude? More live versions of the song🤩
Grade: 9/10

Reza: This is an excellent entry for me. From the very first listen, it grabbed my attention and there aren’t many songs this year that had that effect on me. But “C’est La Vie” is definitely one of them. It has an authentic charm, feels really warm, and is probably one of the most pleasant entries of the year. On top of that, it’s super catchy, radio-friendly, and just really appealing overall. My only concern is that it might come across a bit flat live but I genuinely hope Claude delivers a great performance in Basel and makes the most of this song’s huge potential.
Grade: 10/10

Laurentiu: I like this one. I was expecting something a bit more impactful at first, but I have to admit, it grew on me. “C’est La Vie” has a subtle charm, and Claude’s smooth vocal delivery gives the song an intimate, almost comforting atmosphere. It’s definitely the kind of entry that juries will appreciate more than the televote. Still, while it’s a solid and respectable song, I don’t see it breaking into the left side of the scoreboard. It’s pleasant, polished, and well-executed but not quite competitive enough to make a big splash.
Grade: 8/10

Stefania: Giving the Netherlands a 10/10 because C’est La Vie really caught me off guard especially after the whole Joost incident. I hit play and suddenly my Wi-Fi got stronger and my ex texted “you were right.”
Grade: 10/10

Florin: The chorus is really catchy and I will always love the French-English mix in a song, but this doesn’t really go anywhere. As much as I wanted to love it, feels like a song you hear on the radio while driving, it’s good enough so you don’t change the station, but you don’t search for it after that so you can listen again. I think more could have been done with the verse, but the chorus is kind of saving it from becoming too boring. Could qualify depending on the performance.
Grade: 6/10

Antonio: AGAIN PEOPLE MIGHT COME FOR MY WEAVE for this review but I don’t see anything special in “C’est La Vie”. I love that it is in French and Claude is definately an extremely talented guy with a fantastic voice, but the song just doesn’t do anything specific for me. What I do hope thought is for him to get revenge for Joost Klein :).
Grade: 6/10
