EUROAlfa Panel is back! This year, 8 of our members will rate and comment on every single entry in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest! Today’s country is Montenegro, represented by Tamara Živković with her song “Nova Zora” 🇲🇪

1️⃣ Raul: AH, WHAT A SONG!! Finally a beautiful entry that Montenegro can qualify with!!! I love everything — the song, the vocals, the message — it all works perfectly. She’s sensational, confident, and super captivating on stage. I’m expecting a strong show that will elevate the whole moment. This really feels like a complete package — final, for sure, and maybe even more if everything clicks

Grade: 8/10

2️⃣ Reza: What a pleasant surprise from Montenegro! “Nova Zora” is a great track with a powerful message that I completely support and adore. Tamara is a great performer, she has strong vocals, and she clearly has a vision for this song, so her win in the national final was totally deserved. My only concern, and the reason why my score is not higher, is that the song feels a bit generic at times, especially the drop, which really throws me off. I wish she had added more interesting elements to it after the revamp. Nevertheless, this is a great package from Montenegro that deserves a place in the Grand Final!

Grade: 7/10

3️⃣ Florin: One of my favorite entries from Montenegro. I absolutely love this kind of dark pop songs. Tamara is an amazing performer and I am sure she will put on a great show in Vienna. I think Montenegro is going to get their best result so far this year.

Grade: 8/10

4️⃣ Stefania: Montenegro stands out as one of the strongest entries of this season and is, personally, my favorite. I believe they had a very solid run in the national selection, showing both consistency and artistic maturity.

Grade: 9/10

5️⃣ Laur: Back in the final, I hope. It’s a very well-produced song and I expect it to deliver live. I don’t see why it wouldn’t qualify. The juries might not support it much, but the televote could. The performance might be chaotic, but I hope it doesn’t become messy. Vocally, it’s good, just needs small improvements.

Grade: 8/10

6️⃣ Titi: What a surprise from Montenegro. After many years of attempts, breaks, and reforms that didn’t really work, Montenegro has finally managed to send something truly competitive. Tamara has an exceptional voice, and the song is exactly what they needed. It’s something completely different from them, but it’s exactly the right choice. I really hope to see Montenegro finish as high as possible in the rankings this year!

Grade: 9/10

7️⃣ Nella: The entry that caught me off guard. The National Final performance was okay, a little bit unsynced if you asked me but the game changed for me after the revamp. My heart fills with joy to see the involved of Montenegro this year and hopefully it will be more than worth it! The song has a really addictive built up, the glitch at the end of the song makes you want to listen to the song again thinking you are tripping or something and I am here for it! It might not get everyone on their knees but they deserve that qualification after a long time.

Grade: 10/10

8️⃣ Mircea: A great choice for Montenegro and can we talk about how good the revamp is? I adore this so much and I think it’s their best entry in the contest. The revamp made it even better than it was before. Really can’t wait to see how they’ll stage this in Vienna. Montenegro is on its way to the final after so many years.
