Raul: Hello, Laura & Luxembourg!! Can I say something? I LOVE THIS!! She was my option for Luxembourg since all songs from LSC were released. I love the fact that this is an tribute for France Gall (Poupee de Cire, Poupee de Son is in my top 10 ESC winners). The staging from LSC was a bit empty tho, I am curious about what they will bring to ESC stage, I have some ideas maybe with ropes to create the effect of a controlled doll? This song can be a hit after ESC, idk why I feel this. I hope that Laura will go to the final cause she deserves that. For haters: Should this be at JESC? No, because of the message, too much for a kiddo.
Grade: 8/10

Reza: I really enjoy the bridge of this song, and Laura brings a lot of charisma—she fits the song perfectly. However, similar to Ireland’s entry, it leans towards the childish side and isn’t the type of music I usually go for. It has grown on me since its release, but compared to the other competing songs, it remains fairly middle-of-the-road for me.
Grade: 6/10

Laurentiu: A totally YES even it’s getting JESC vibes like Ireland. This one is a wild ride and I loved it. “La Poupée Monte Le Son” (“The Doll Turns Up the Volume”) is part cabaret, part avant-pop, and entirely theatrical. In the end, for me it’s a good formula. Laura Thorn is charismatic and magnetic on stage. It’s very stylized, and not everyone will connect with its eccentricity, but I admire how fearless it is (like I didn’t do it the first time either). This is the kind of act that makes Eurovision more fun; something you talk about long after the show ends. It’s not playing it safe, and in Eurovision, that can be gold, as we already know.
Grade: 8/10

Stefania: Luxembourg really said: let’s take Poupée de cire, poupée de son and give it a 2025 upgrade with sharper beats, darker edges, and a doll that’s fully self-aware… and maybe slightly judging you. It’s retro, it’s quirky, it’s marching straight into the final with marionette confidence.
Grade: 7/10

Florin: The song is quite nice, tho I can’t say it’s my type of song and I wouldn’t listen to it on a regular basis, but it’s very catchy. Even though it hadn’t made it to my playlist, I can’t help but sing along every time I hear it. It stands out and I think, with some luck, this could end on the left side of the scoreboard.
Grade: 7/10

Antonio: Even though this song hasn’t exactly been everyone’s cup of tea, it’s definitely my guilty pleasure this year! It’s energetic, delightfully silly—both in its instrumental and lyrics. Laura is clearly a strong performer, and depending on the staging and her presence, this could qualify. I just worry that some people might misunderstand the whole concept and leave Luxembourg stuck in the semi-finals, but I’m really hoping they make it through
