Raul: MASTERPIECE. What else can I say? I want to see the staging asap cause I want to see how great she will be on stage and how France Televisions thought about it. Without any doubts 10! L.E. After Eurovision in Concert she literarlly make me wanna vote for her.
Grade: 10/10

Reza: For the second year in a row, France is my winner. This may be a simple ballad, nothing we haven’t heard before, but the story behind it and the way Louane delivers it hit me on an emotional level. The fact that this song is both a tribute to her mother, who passed away 10 years ago and dreamed of seeing her at Eurovision, and a response to her 2015 song Maman, reflecting on how she has grown, found peace, built a life, and now has a daughter who calls her maman, it truly moved me. This is a solid package, and with the right staging in Basel, this story could touch even more people and inspire them to vote for France. Regardless, this song is simply beautiful.
Grade: 10/10

Laurentiu: “Maman” is a deeply emotional ballad that didn’t immediately captivate me, but over time, it has grown to become a frequent listen. Louane’s vocal delivery is exceptional, conveying genuine emotion that resonates with the listener. I anticipate this will create an intimate and poignant moment on the Eurovision stage and this is something the contest always benefits from.I firmly believe “Maman” will secure a spot in the Top 10, potentially even reaching the Top 5. The juries are likely to appreciate its emotional depth and Louane’s vocal performance. However, I have some reservations about its appeal to the televoting audience, which could impact its final placement. While a win might be uncertain, France has undoubtedly delivered a strong and memorable entry this year.
Grade: 9/10

Stefania: It’s honest, deeply personal, and that’s what makes it powerful. Her vocals carry the weight of every word, and knowing the story behind the song only deepens its impact. It might not scream “Eurovision banger,” but it whispers something far more lasting. It’s the kind of entry that doesn’t shout for attention, it earns it.
Grade: 9/10

Florin: France doing what they do best. An emotional ballad, with amazing vocals and such a beautiful message. It’s clear that they are trying to win, and they might really have a shot this year. I’m not the biggest fan of the French ballads, but this one is really-really good, even tho I can’t say it was love at first listen, after a few, i absolutely started loving the song.
Grade: 10/10

Antonio: I remember i discovered Louane back in 2019/2020 while i was making my french song playlist songs. Her songs really hit hard for me and sometimes its even hard to listen to them, but for me she’s one of the best artists we have at Eurovision this year. I had big expectations from her and guess what? She did it! This emotional ballad is everything I’d dreamt of and I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will actually win. I cant wait to listen to this and also see the whole moment on TV.
