EUROAlfa Panel is back! This year, 8 of our members will rate and comment on every single entry in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest! Today’s country is Lithuania, represented by Lion Ceccah with his song “Sólo Quiero Más” 🇱🇹

1️⃣ Raul: Yeah, it’s a song. Nothing wow for me — for others maybe yes, but it doesn’t impress me at all. I am curious to see how the staging will look in Vienna though — it could either really captivate both the public and the juries and make it to the final, or be a complete fail.

Grade: 6/10

2️⃣ Reza: This entry definitely leaves an impression. I do not think we have ever had a silver man at Eurovision before, but that is a good thing since the more unusual you are, the more you stand out. I think the song has a very beautiful and deep meaning, which I really appreciate, and I did not even need to look up the translation to understand what he was trying to say. I think that is a huge plus for Lithuania, because many viewers will be able to connect with the song and its message without having to try too hard to figure out what it is about, despite it not being fully in English. The song has really grown on me since its release, I enjoy it a lot now, and I am pretty sure it will qualify. I also love that Lithuania has been very authentic lately and is truly doing its own thing.

Grade: 7/10

3️⃣ Florin: I don’t know how to feel about this, the song itself is not my cup of tea, but the performance somehow makes it stand out. With a good staging this could appeal both to juries and televoters.

Grade: 5/10

4️⃣ Stefania: This entry stands out as an interesting and refreshing concept, bringing something new to the table. The idea built around “solo quiero más” is particularly engaging and has clear potential to resonate with audiences. That said, I would expect a stronger emotional delivery to fully elevate the piece. With a more impactful staging and a deeper emotional connection, this performance could truly come to life on the Eurovision stage.

Grade: 5/10

5️⃣ Laur: An artistic moment. I hope Europe appreciates it. I was impressed, even if it’s not a standout on first listen. The result will depend on staging. He sings well and has strong stage presence.

Grade: 6/10

6️⃣ Titi: I know this might be an unpopular opinion, but I actually really like what Lithuania is sending this year. The artist’s voice is exceptional, and I really like the overall concept of the song. I don’t understand why Lithuania is so underrated this year, because they have a package that could do quite well in Vienna. I won’t lie and say the song feels perfect. Something seems to be missing, and it feels a bit unfinished, but the direction it’s going in is good.

Grade: 7/10

7️⃣ Nella: One of my guilty pleasures this year. It’s a bit odd that the title is in Spanish, he sings half in Lithuanian and English, but I am simply haunted by his vocals. Great job from Lithuania.

Grade: 8/10

8️⃣ Mircea: I find this song experimental and unusual, but doesn’t do much for me. I don’t understand the Spanish part and the instrumental is a bit chaotic. I can’t wait to hear the revamp and to see the staging, because it has potential to do much better. I love his voice by the way, but that’s it.

Grade: 5/10
