EUROAlfa Panel is back! This year, 8 of our members will rate and comment on every single entry in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest! Today’s country is Italy, represented by Sal Da Vinci with his song “Per Sempre Sí” 🇮🇹

1️⃣ Raul: This is a song for the Sanremo fans, not something that’s easily digestible for everyone, but it genuinely represents their tradition and culture — something beautiful!! Honestly, I expect it to be a bit of a dark horse and maybe even sneak into the Top 10, but who knows with people’s tastes these days haha. I absolutely love his energy, and the vocals… there’s nothing to say, they’re simply amazing.

Grade: 8/10

2️⃣ Reza: This is such a wholesome and lovely entry. It is a true earworm, and Sal Da Vinci comes across as such a sweet and genuine person. This song simply makes me feel good, puts a smile on my face, and keeps me engaged from beginning to end. Many may argue that it sounds outdated, and honestly, it is not the most “Eurovision-ish” song, but that is exactly what makes Italy special year after year. They stay authentic by doing their own thing, and somehow it works every single time. I am 100% sure that the average viewer will appreciate this more than a fan favourite like Sweden, for example. Even if some people will not be happy with it, I believe this will score extremely well, especially with the public.

Grade: 10/10

3️⃣ Florin: Whose uncle got drunk and mistook his niece’s wedding for Sanremo? Jokes aside, I don’t know how to put it, but I don’t like this at all. I can’t put it on the Eurovision stage in any way that would “work” with the contest. The production is good, his voice is also very good, wouldn’t expect less from an Italian entry, but the song is a major turn off for me.

Grade: 3/10

4️⃣ Stefania: It’s a very sweet and pleasant song that brings a splash of color and a nice atmosphere. However, I don’t really see it as a strong Eurovision contender, as it has a somewhat dated feel, it sounds like something I might have heard a few years ago. For Eurovision standards, I’d give it a 6, especially since there were more competitive songs in Sanremo. Still, it’s a decent entry and enjoyable to listen to.

Grade: 6/10

5️⃣ Laur: Amazing. Definitely my guilty pleasure. I could listen to this all the time. It’s a love declaration, and understanding Italian makes it even more special. At first, I thought it sounded outdated, which is not wrong for 2026. But does music really have an age? I’m curious about the juries. The staging will probably be simple, and sometimes simplicity works best.

Grade: 7/10

6️⃣ Titi: I know this is the type of song that usually wins Sanremo, but I just can’t see it doing well at Eurovision. The song feels quite linear, there’s nothing really “wow” about it, and for some people it might even sound a bit dated. It definitely sounds very Italian, that’s true, but overall it’s just mid.

Grade: 6/10

7️⃣ Nella: I mean…it’s not bad at all, just for the old chicks out here <3. I like it, I have nothing else to say about it. Italy pulls a top 10 every year nonetheless, the entry they sent, and that shows just how powerful a country can be in Eurovision.

Grade: 6/10

8️⃣ Mircea: I must confess, I am not a fan of this song. Italy used to send strong entries through Sanremo, and this one is not very solid for me. But in the other hand, I find it very funny and catchy, especially in the chorus. I can confirm 100% that this would be a grower in the next weeks, but I still say that Italy will miss Top 10 this year.

Grade: 6/10
