EUROAlfa Panel is back! This year, 8 of our members will rate and comment on every single entry in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest! Today’s country is Georgia, represented by Bzikebi with their song “On Replay” 🇬🇪

1️⃣ Raul: Honestly, I’m shocked they selected them for Eurovision, but the song is fresh and I really like it a lot! I genuinely hope it makes the final!! As for the performance, I’m expecting a big investment — the song really allows for a strong and dynamic staging. It’s the kind of entry you can either elevate into something amazing or completely mess up, there’s not much in between.

Grade: 8/10

2️⃣ Reza: The expectations were high for Georgia this year. When I first listened to this one, I was very underwhelmed because I expected more than just “lalala keep it on replay” for basically three minutes, and I also wasn’t a fan of the melody. However, it grew on me very fast, and now I really enjoy it. It’s a bop! Probably my favourite Georgian entry, along with Firefighter, to ever represent the country! Also, shout out to Lizi Pop, who is one of the songwriters behind this track. I hope we get to see her at the big Eurovision stage as well! All in all, this is a great effort from the Caucasian country, and I am pretty sure we will hear them in the final too!

Grade: 7/10

3️⃣ Florin: Okayyy, I’ll keep this on replay. I had high hopes from them and the DID NOT disappoint. The lyrics make no sense to me, but I don’t really mind that, it’s not about the lyrics, but about the vibes for a song like this, and I think this will have huge appeal to the televote.

Grade: 8/10

4️⃣ Stefania: Hmm, it didn’t completely blow me away, but it’s still a really solid track considering this year’s Eurovision lineup. I was hoping for a more impactful chorus, the ‘la la la’ hook becomes somewhat repetitive and slightly overused over time. Still, it’s clearly a finalist: catchy and well-produced.

Grade: 7/10

5️⃣ Laur: I think we all expected more from Georgia, myself included. Still, they delivered something decent and didn’t embarrass themselves. The song flows very well and it’s quite catchy, even if you don’t want it to be. It might feel a bit repetitive. I really like the vocal part with the trills, especially right before the final chorus. That section could impress the juries a lot.

Grade: 7/10

6️⃣ Titi: I’ve been waiting for Bzikebi to take part in Eurovision for so long, and now it’s finally happening this year. Personally, I really like the song. It’s clearly very original and doesn’t sound like anything else this year, which makes it stand out. It also has that catchy Georgian sound we’ve become used to, and it fits the song perfectly. I think it’s very underrated by the community, and I hope it gets a good result in May. Good luck, Georgia, and congratulations!

Grade: 10/10

7️⃣ Nella: I guess the song is just fine! A bit goofy, but with a good staging they can easily qualify. It might be a shocking NQ still, let’s not jump to those conclusions that fast.

Grade: 6/10

8️⃣ Mircea: We are used to hear random songs from Georgia, very unusal and interesting. This one is no exception, but in a good way. Bzikebi didn’t dissapointed me, because I find this song special and cool. I think they’ll qualify and I am very excited for the live performance.
