EUROAlfa Panel is back! This year, 8 of our members will rate and comment on every single entry in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest! Today’s country is Denmark, represented by Søren Torpegaard Lund with his song “Før Vi Går Hjem“! 🇩🇰

1️⃣ Raul: Denmark keeps delivering a good song, I don’t know what’s going on with them lately, but they’re definitely heading in the right direction!! Personally, I think it’s a bit overrated to place it in the Top 5, buuut it really is a very solid moment — great vocals and a cool sound. It just doesn’t blow me away though.

Grade: 7/10

2️⃣ Reza: I had loved “Før Vi Går Hjem” as a studio track ever since it was released, but I have to admit that I preferred “Infinity” and “Death of Me” even more. However, his live performance completely gagged me, and I honestly do not think I have been this impressed by a national final performance since Chanel’s “SloMo.” That is especially remarkable coming from Denmark, considering how much they tend to struggle with staging. But this time? They absolutely ate. On top of that, his vocals were amazing, and he elevated the song to a whole new level. From being an entry that barely anyone talked about when the full DMGP lineup was released, to Denmark climbing to 2nd place in the odds, 2nd in fan rankings, and suddenly becoming one of the most talked-about entries, this is the definition of a dark horse. He is lovely, charismatic, he can sing, he can dance, he can perform, he genuinely has all the qualities needed to win the whole thing. After so many years, Denmark is in the race to win Eurovision! Kom så Danmark!

Grade: 10/10

3️⃣ Florin: At first I did not like this song, but after a few listens I started loving it. Still, despite how much the fans love this (myself included), I just can’t see it as a winning entry. Love the fact that they are keeping it in Danish.

Grade: 9/10

4️⃣ Stefania: From the very beginning, I really liked this song, but I was a bit skeptical that it would actually win the national selection. Still, it has always stood out to me. I absolutely love the song, and with a slightly more polished staging, it will get a very good result.

Grade: 9/10

5️⃣ Laur: Top 10 for sure. This song has everything it needs. It sounds very modern, very 2026. I love it. He sings really well, and I hope they don’t change the staging too much. The juries will support him, and I think the televote will also be strong.

Grade: 9/10

6️⃣ Titi: Denmark is the biggest surprise of the year for me! Ever since the DMGP songs were released, I said that Søren would win and represent Denmark. The song is a club banger with electro and techno elements that make it stand out. Soren has a very strong and clean voice, and if the staging is at least as good as it was at DMGP, Denmark could easily make it into the top 5—or I’d even dare to say top 3 if everything is executed perfectly. Denmark’s song can easily score points both from the juries, thanks to Soren’s voice, and from the public, thanks to its trendy club vibe. Overall, in my opinion, Denmark is the only country sending a complete package this year.

Grade: 10/10

7️⃣ Nella: At first glance, I didn’t find this entry appealing at all. After some time, I gotta say Denmark for me was the biggest glow-up in my top 10. Given the fact that it’s in Danish doesn’t drag down the song at all – on the contrary! I think it makes it more catchy and gives a meaning to the song. Søren has a fantastic voice, and he’s also in there with Albania’s Alis for best male vocalist of this edition. If they pull even a top 3, I’ll be more than happy for them!

Grade: 10/10

8️⃣ Mircea: Many people say this is so overrated, which I partially agree, because it’s not the best song of this year. On the other hand, Denmark is finally risking it with a song which is not basic and it`s fully in Danish, a big step ahead for them. The staging in DMGP is very good, I hope they’ll not changing it because it is very effective. I can see Denmark qualifying easily this year and I`m proud of them for choosing something different.
