The EuroAlfa Panel — a group of six Eurovision-loving bloggers — is here to review and rate this year’s Junior Eurovision songs. We’re not professionals, but our passion for Eurovision and music drives us to share our honest opinions. We’ll be rating each song on a scale from 1⭐ to 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, with 1 representing a tune that didn’t quite hit the mark, and 5 reserved for those that truly shine! Next up, we take a closer look and see if Ireland’s 🇮🇪 “Le Chéile” by Enya Cox Dempsey impressed our panel!

Antonio: The song has yet to make a strong impact on me; I find it lacks the elements that usually capture my interest (2.5⭐)

Florin: I love the fact that Ireland sends songs in the Irish language, which sounds so good! The song is really nice, but her vocals need some work. I really hope she improves before the contest. (4⭐)

Laur: This one didn’t particularly stand out to me, and I found the vocals to be somewhat unremarkable as well. (2⭐)

Raul: Alright, this is truly impressive! Ireland has returned with an entry that’s bound to land on the left side of the scoreboard. I love the catchy, pop-inspired ‘Na-na-na’ section—it brings such an infectious energy. I can easily envision this with dynamic camera angles on stage, and I’m looking forward to casting my vote for it! (4.5⭐)

Reza: After listening to this track, I found it difficult to recall any standout moments—it feels quite forgettable, and the vocals don’t come across as particularly strong. (3.5⭐)

Stefania: Le Chéile does follow a familiar formula that we’ve seen many times before in both Eurovision and Junior Eurovision. The song’s heartfelt message and polished vocals are strong, but the melody and arrangement don’t break new ground. (4⭐)
