The EuroAlfa Panel — a group of six Eurovision-loving bloggers — is here to review and rate this year’s Junior Eurovision songs. We’re not professionals, but our passion for Eurovision and music drives us to share our honest opinions. We’ll be rating each song on a scale from 1⭐ to 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, with 1 representing a tune that didn’t quite hit the mark, and 5 reserved for those that truly shine! Next up, we take a closer look and see if Ukraine’s 🇺🇦 “HEAR ME NOW” by Artem Kontenko impressed our panel!

Antonio: Ukraine never disappoints both in ESC and JESC. I was thrown off the fact that the song was quite political but still it’s a good one. (4.5⭐)

Florin: I wasn’t the biggest fan of the song when it won the selection, but it has grown on me, and now I can see why everyone loves it. It’s a really good song; he has the vocals, and the concept is there. I can’t wait to see it on stage. (4.5⭐)

Laur: A very cool performance from Ukraine! I really enjoyed this one! (4⭐)

Raul: This is my winner for this edition! I absolutely love this song with every fiber of my being. The moment I first heard it, I thought, “OMG, we have a winner!” I haven’t changed my mind since. I truly hope that Europe will rally behind him, as his vocals are exceptional and the performance is stellar. Everything about it feels perfect—I just hope he retains the same energy from the National Final! (5⭐)

Reza: This entry presents a strong performance overall. While the studio version may not be particularly remarkable, the live rendition significantly enhances the song’s impact. Artem possesses an incredible voice and skillfully conveys the song’s message. Ukraine is undoubtedly a contender this year. (4.5⭐)

Stefania: Ukraine absolutely nailed it this year! The song is a masterpiece—bold, powerful, and bursting with energy. (5⭐)
