ERR announced that 175 entries have been submitted for Eesti Laul 2025, with participants vying to represent Estonia at the Eurovision Song Contest in Basel. Of the total submissions, 65 are in Estonian, while the remaining 110 are performed in foreign languages, such as English, Italian, French, and German.

Tommy Cash, one of Estonia’s most well-known rappers, producers, and visual artists, has confirmed he’s submitted a song for Eesti Laul 2025. Famous for his bold and unconventional style, Tommy has built a reputation internationally for pushing boundaries in both music and art and his announcement about year’s competition already got fans excited to see what he has in store.

A jury will select 15 finalists, with the results to be announced by the Estonian National Broadcasting Company at the beginning of November. The public will get their first chance to hear the songs on December 6 during the “Start” program. A 16th entry, chosen via public voting after a preliminary round, will be revealed in early January. The Estonian selection will consist of a single night show, where all sixteen songs will compete on February 15, 2025.

The winners of this year’s Eesti Laul, 5miinust and Puuluup, represented Estonia in Malmö and finished in 20th place in the Grand Final.
