Show Details

Tonight’s broadcast marked the first of three Dora 2026 shows. The event was hosted by Barbara Kolar, Duško Čurlić, Ivan Vukušić, and Iva Šulentić, continuing a familiar presenting lineup for the Croatian national selection.

The second semi-final will be held tomorrow, 13 February, featuring the remaining twelve contestants. Another eight acts will join the finalists, creating a line-up of sixteen performers competing for the Croatian ticket to Eurovision.

How Dora 2026 Works

This year’s edition of Dora includes 24 songs divided across two semi-finals and a grand final:

  • Semi-final 1 (12 February 2026): 12 songs performed, 8 qualifiers chosen by public vote
  • Semi-final 2 (13 February 2026): 12 songs compete, 8 more qualifiers selected by public vote
  • Final (15 February 2026): 16 finalists compete; results decided by 50% public vote, 25% regional jury, and 25% international jury

All shows are taking place at HRT Studios in Zagreb.

Croatia at Eurovision

Croatia debuted in the Eurovision Song Contest in 1993 and has participated 30 times. The country is still searching for its first victory, although its strongest result came recently when Baby Lasagna finished second in 2024 with “Rim Tim Tagi Dim.” Since the introduction of semi-finals in 2004, Croatia has reached the Grand Final nine times.

With Semi-final 1 complete, anticipation is now building for tomorrow’s show and the final line-up that will battle for Croatia’s Eurovision 2026 spot.
