Until recently, it was uncertain whether the Czech Republic would participate in this year’s Eurovision, as rumors surfaced on X from within the Czech delegation suggesting the country might withdraw. Although the reasons for a possible withdrawal were neither explained nor confirmed, fans speculated that low ratings, unfavorable results, and financial concerns could be the cause.

An official announcement was expected in August but had not been made until now.

Czechia has officially confirmed its participation in Eurovision and has opened submissions for Czech artists. They can submit their songs until 30th of September. It is still unclear whether the country will select its representative internally or through a national selection.
