Croatia is back to Junior Eurovision after 11 years of absence! HRT release:

We are happy to be returning to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest after a long break. HRT was present at the very beginning of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, in 2003, when Dino Jelusić won with the song ‘Ti Si Moja Prva Ljubav’. As well as in 2004, when second place went to Nika Turković with the song ‘Hej Mali’. This year, we will be represented by Marino Vrgoč, the winner of ‘The Voice Kids Croatia’. We hope for a successful return, and for him it will be an opportunity for new singing endeavors, gaining new experiences and socializing with children from all over Europe.

About Marino

Marino is 9 years old and will soon be finishing the second grade of his elementary school in Ploče, a small town on the Dalmatian coast. He is a member of both the school choir and the drama group, and is learning to play the piano at music school.

Marino would love to become a doctor when he grows up, because he loves helping people.

With his powerful singing voice, Marino won over a national audience watching at home to become the winner of the very first series of The Voice Kids Croatia.
