On 30th of January took place the first semi-final of Benidorm Fest where 4 acts qualified to the final.

The winner of the semi-final was Nebulossa with their song “Zorra”. The group won the Jury Vote with a total of 84 points, 20 points ahead of the 2nd place, Miss Caffeina.

Even though, Nebulossa won the Jury Vote with a pretty big margin, the demoscopic jury vote did not agree at all and their winner was Angy Fernández with her pop-rock song “Se quién soy”. Angy delivered an emotional performance that convinced the demoscopic jury to give her the maximum points.

The big surprise of the night came when Mantra, the last place of the Jury Voting, were announced as the Televote winner. A total of 12.775 votes were casted last night and Mantra had more than 57% of all the votes. Despite this huge margin, Mantra did not qualify for the big final.
