The Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation (CyBC) officially confirmed that Antigoni has been selected to represent Cyprus in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026.

Born and raised in North London, Antigoni is a singer-songwriter with proud Greek Cypriot roots. Named after her grandmother, she has been carving her own path in music since signing her first publishing deal at just 14.

Antigoni was also a contestant on Love Island 2022 UK. Though her time on the show was short, she gained a strong fan following and used the exposure to further her career as an artist.

Her songs often weave together elements of hip-hop and pop with Greek, Middle Eastern, and bouzouki-inspired sounds, creating a fusion that feels both fresh and familiar.

In an interview with PRS for Music, she expressed her passion for representing her roots, saying she “really wants to share Greek Cypriot heritage and culture through music.”

In 2023, she released her latest EP, Hexagon and she’s been steadily growing her audience, amassing over 12 million total streams and around 60,000 monthly listeners

CyBC has not revealed the release date of Antigoni’s song, but it is expected to be released next year.
