TVR hosted its iconic Selecția Națională on March 4th, with 12 acts competing in order to represent Romania on the second semifinal scheduled on May 14th in Vienna, Austria.

After a 100% jury vote, the winner of the National Final and the next representative for the country is Alexandra Căpitănescu with her song Choke me.
