The wait is almost over. Alexandra Căpitănescu has officially announced her debut album, titled CHOKE ME, set to drop on October 16.

Accompanying the date reveal, Alexandra shared the official cover art, created by her drummer, with photography by Danil Grom, giving fans a raw preview of the aesthetic for this new era.

“A Completely Honest Mess”

Bold, provocative, and uncompromising, the album title sets the tone for a project built on emotional transparency. Opening up about the creative journey, Alexandra described the album as a deeply personal healing process:

“Ain’t it crazy to name an album ‘CHKE ME’? It’s provocative and deeply personal, just like the songs on it… from vulnerability to power… turning every pain, every feeling, every uncomfortable truth into music.”*

Crafted alongside her band members: Bogdan, Lacusta, Thomas, and Meafiu, the project reflects hours in the studio spent confronting buried emotions and transforming them into cathartic soundscapes. “This album is a piece of US. A piece of YOU. A completely honest mess. Now make it yours!” she added.

Expected Tracklist Highlights

While the full tracklist is yet to be revealed, the album is expected to feature standout singles including:
