EUROAlfa Panel is back! This year, 8 of our members will rate and comment on every single entry in this year’s Eurovision Song Contest! Today’s country is Albania, represented by Alis with his song “Nân“! 🇦🇱

1️⃣ Raul: OMG Albania unexpected (not) from you :)) It’s a really good song. The message is so profound and meaningful, and it feels like the perfect match for both the juries and the televote. Alis manages to truly convey the message to the audience, and the vocals are simply perfect. I can’t wait to see the full staged performance in Vienna. definitely a finalist.

Grade: 9/10

2️⃣ Reza: This is honestly such a stunning entry. I didn’t pay much attention to it when it won back in December, but it has really grown on me, and when the official video dropped, it all just clicked. The lyrics are beautiful and touching. This is a top 5 finisher for me, and I really hope the juries give it the recognition it deserves.

Grade: 10/10

3️⃣ Florin: I think I liked this song more at first than I do now. It’s the typical Albanian ballad, in a good way, but I feel like this can get easily lost without a VERY good staging. It’s a song that will clearly appeal to the judges, especially with the great vocals Alis has.

Grade: 7/10

4️⃣ Stefania: I really like the song and his live is very good. I hope it will be appreciated and finish high. Maybe a dark horse?! 👀

Grade: 8/10

5️⃣ Laur: I like it. Vocally, almost flawless. Not the most stable performance, but the backing vocals help. The staging will probably follow their usual style. The song is nice, but not memorable. The chorus feels flat. It might miss the top 10 and could even be an unexpected flop.

Grade: 6/10

6️⃣ Titi: Alis has an exceptional voice, and the song suits him perfectly. Ever since he won FIK, I’ve liked the song, and the moment I glanced at the lyrics translated into English, it became an instant grower. Although it’s one of my favorites, the fact that Albania is in the second semi-final makes me worried about his qualification. Alis will definitely have the juries’ support, but will he manage to get enough points from the televote? We’ll have to wait and see.

7️⃣ Nella: This is not my cup of tea, even though I am the biggest wh*re when it comes to ballads. His voice is outstanding and we might have the best male vocalist this edition. I hope the performance will do good overall.

Grade: 8/10

8️⃣ Mircea: One of the most underrated songs of this year I would say. I liked this song since it won FiK and I felt connected since beginning. Alis is an amazing singer and he is delivering the message of the song so well, very emotional. It could be a dark horse.

Grade: 8/10
