This year’s UMK lineup was chosen by a combination of professional and audience juries, led by a panel of music industry experts chaired by Yle Music’s Tapio Hakanen. From hundreds of submissions, seven acts were selected, representing a wide range of styles, from fresh debut releases and modern sounds to powerful ballads, standout duos and genre-defining artists.

The Grand Final will take place on 28 February 2026, when all seven competitors take the stage at Nokia Arena in Tampere. The two-hour live final is expected to draw around two million TV viewers, with about 20,000 fans attending in person, as Finland chooses its Eurovision representative for 2026.
