Today, North Macedonia is set to hold live auditions at the MRT Studios in Skopje to choose its representative for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Tbilisi. Aspiring young singers were invited to apply, with the submission window closing on May 25.

Each auditioning participant will perform two songs of their own choice. A professional jury will evaluate the performances based on vocal ability, stage presence, emotional expression, movement, audience connection, and the overall artistic interpretation of the songs.

The selected representative is expected to be announced within the next week. In 2024, MRT revealed Ana and Aleksej exactly one week after auditions. The duo went on to represent North Macedonia in Madrid with the song “Marathon”, finishing in 16th place with 54 points.
