Akylas is also a top contender, with his track “Ferto” frequently topping fan discussions and predictions. Pop‑oriented Marseaux brings the emotional song “Χάνομαι” (Khánomai), which has been gaining buzz online. Finally, Dinamiss, a returning competitor with previous national selection experience, hopes to make an impact with their track “Chaos.”

Let’s discuss all of them!

Evangelia

One of the top favourites in Semi‑Final 1 is Evangelia, a Greek‑American singer known for her energetic style and previous success in Greece’s national selections. Born in New Jersey, she blends pop with Greek influences and has been building her career with catchy singles and her debut album Peproméno. 🎵

EVANGELIA - YouTube

Evangelia has persistently pursued the Eurovision dream, submitting songs to national selections multiple times over the last few years, including entries like “Ónira” for Greece in 2022, “Aphrodite” for Cyprus the same year, and “Páli” in 2023. She finally placed second in the 2025 Greek national final with her song “Vále”. In that selection she narrowly missed out on representing Greece at Eurovision, finishing just behind the 2025 entrant.

Tonight, she performs “Paréa” (“friends”/“crew”), an upbeat, party‑ready track mixing Greek and English lyrics. The song celebrates friendship, living in the moment, and fun rhythms, making it a standout in the semi‑final. Evangelia and her team say the song perfectly captures the joyful, communal spirit she wants to bring to Eurovision.

LISTEN TO PAREA!

With her experience, international profile and energetic performance, Evangelia is definitely one to watch tonight.

Akylas

Another big favourite in the Semi‑Final 1 is Akylas, a rising Greek artist whose entry “Ferto” has turned into one of the standout tracks of Sing for Greece 2026. The song has gone viral online, surpassing 2 million views on YouTube even before the live shows and is leading fan discussions and betting odds ahead of tonight’s semi‑final.

Akylas | Spotify

Akylas combines catchy hooks with meaningful lyrics. “Ferto” blends upbeat energy and danceable rhythms with a deeper message about overconsumption, ambition and personal struggle, serving as a tribute to his upbringing and his mother’s sacrifices.

Thanks to its viral success, enthusiastic audience reactions and strong buzz in both Greece and across Europe, Akylas is widely seen as a serious contender to progress to the final, and possibly even become Greece’s representative at Eurovision 2026.

Marseaux

One of tonight’s favourites in Semi‑Final 1 is Marseaux, a Greek pop artist whose song “Χάνομαι” (“I’m Lost”) has quickly become one of the most talked‑about entries in Sing for Greece 2026. The track, created with hit‑maker Solmeister, blends modern pop with emotional lyrics about nostalgia and reconnecting with one’s youthful self, which Marseaux says deeply resonates with her personally.

Marseaux | Spotify

Marseaux has dreamed of Eurovision since childhood, often saying that she told her mother she wanted to compete one day. She tried entering before in 2020 but now feels better prepared with “Χάνομαι” and the connection it creates with listeners.

Her heartfelt backstory and strong streaming presence have made her a standout contender to qualify from tonight’s semi‑final and possibly represent Greece in Vienna.

Dinamiss

We are concluding our look with Dinamiss, a returning Greek artist known for energetic performances and catchy, modern tracks. Over the years, Dinamiss has built a reputation in Greece’s national selections, gaining experience and a loyal fanbase.

Dinamiss | Spotify

This year, Dinamiss performs “Chaos”, a high-energy song blending pop and electronic elements. The track explores themes of self-expression, freedom, and breaking away from limitations, making it both fun and relatable for tonight’s audience.
