The BBC, the United Kingdom’s national broadcaster, has officially confirmed its participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, set to take place in Austria. BBC Studios, which continues to hold the contract for producing the UK’s Eurovision coverage, will begin a new two-year term starting in May 2026. Should the UK win Eurovision during this period, a separate tender process will be launched to determine the producer of a UK-hosted contest.

The BBC has yet to announce how they will select their act for 2026. Since 2020, all British entries have been chosen through an internal selection process.

At Eurovision 2025 in Basel, the UK was represented by Remember Monday with their song β€œWhat The Hell Just Happened?”. They placed 19th overall with 88 points β€” and, for the second consecutive year, received zero points from the public televote.
